Turning 100

Well, I’ve officially published 100 posts (this is #101) on “The Expatriate Minister,” and for those of you who are regular readers of this irregular blog, may I say a loud and enthusiastic THANK YOU!

Writing regularly is a struggle for me, as the alarming lack of consistency I’ve exhibited might suggest, so I appreciate your forbearance. Those of you who do blog regularly, feel free to drop me annoyingly smug suggestions on how to do better!

I’m now taking requests for the next 100 posts: possible topics include
+ “Obscure Corners of the Theological Universe That Have No Impact On Anything Remotely Important,”
+ “How Much Nerdier Can Josh Actually Get?” and
+ “The Hales Brag About the Year They Spent in England…Again.”
OK, seriously, I would love to hear some blog topic suggestions, things you’d like to know more about, etc.

Some of you know that I’m turning 30 on Friday, and so if you’d like to celebrate that milestone as well, then please check out my Birthday Wish on Facebook — it benefits the United Methodist Committee on Relief. Thanks for being a great community for conversation about the life of faith!
